Lovesac or Love Sack, which is it? Lovesac use to be the name of a company that sold giant foam filled bean bag chairs. The were brilliant in the their marketing and soon made the world aware of a better bean bag chairs, a foam bag chair.
Lovesac, however, grew fast, branched out, and eventually got into debt and therefore filed bankruptcy. Lovesac’s followers and knock offs, however, remained in business. Love sacs original owner then teamed up with new investors and formed a new company called Lovesac alternative furniture – although the “e” in the word Lovesac is backwards, which they probably had to do in order to be different enough from their original name.
The popular Lovesac brand still exists, as do many other popular brands and generic knock offs. Lovesac did such a great job at marketing, that now giant foam bean bag chairs are simply called Love Sacks. They’re also called a gazillion other names like foam sacks, foam sacs, foam bags, luv sacks, lovesacks, foam bean bags, foam bean bag chairs, and more. Take your pick on what you call it. Anyway you call it, your talking about a soft chair.
